About Bradley

Bradley was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, an information security consultant, and a small business owner with over 23 years of experience.  He worked with some of the best-known Fortune 500 companies in the Seattle area and was successful by every measure of modern society.

A former Catholic turned atheist and a lax ‘philosophical’ Buddhist, Bradley experienced a true spiritual awakening – a ‘heart opening’ – in October of 2014. By December he’d moved through the eye of enlightenment and come to know the presence of God. In February he decided to sell his possessions and become homeless.

He does not smoke, drink, or do drugs. He is a vegan, lives a celibate life, and advocates for the spiritual awakening of the entire world through the power of love. Until such a time that God sees fit, Bradley will live the homeless life and lead by example; freely sharing what he learns along the way.

Finding Me In Person:

People often ask how they can find me.  I live on the street; on University Avenue in the University District of Seattle.  Here’s a general run down of the places I go:

  • The University Book Store front porch:  Off and on throughout the day, but it depends.  This is also where I sleep (from about 10:30pm until around 7:30am).
  • The Sureshot Cafe at University and 45th:  This is where you are most likely to find me after 8pm pretty much every night.  This and my sleeping location are pretty constant.
  • The Starbucks on University and 47th (I think): From around 7:30am until around 9 or 10am. It depends on what the weather is doing.  I may stay later on rainy days.
  • The University Campus up 47th: On sunny days I wander up the street a couple of blocks to the campus lawn and will play with my staff and/or take a nap.  I’m usually there for a couple of hours or so.
  • In front of the American Apparel on University and 45th: One of my main sitting locations where I hang out with my sign and talk to people about enlightenment.  Often here between noon and 8pm, depending.
  • In front of the Chase Bank on University and 45th:  One of my main sitting locations where I hang out with my sign and talk to people about enlightenment.  Often here between noon and 8pm, depending.
  • The Bahi Museum on University and 45th: Often found engaged in deep spiritual dialogue with members of the Bahi Faith.  They are only open a few days during the week – but I am there often.
  • The Campus Park at University and Campus Parkway: I like to sit in this small park from time to time.  I may play with my staff and nap on the huge round table.
  • The University Temple Methodist Church around University and 46th:  Here on Sunday mornings for service and community interaction.
  • University Village and Seattle Gym: Every 3 or 4 days I go up to the University Village to get clothes out of storage and wander to the gym for a workout and shower.

There are a few other places that I wander to from time to time, but this covers most of my main locations.  If you can’t find me, you weren’t meant to. I’m not hiding – God just didn’t want our paths to cross  😉
